U16 BOYS take 4th place at Holland Cup

The U16 Boys Select traveled to Europe to compete in the Holland Cup and Dana Cup. The trip was an amazing soccer as well as cultural experience for the boys. The team showed well throughout both tournaments and finished with some great results.
The Holland Cup: Since the start of this tournament in 1986, hundreds of teams from all over the world gather every year in Holland to participate. The high quality soccer, wonderful atmosphere and great facilities make this tournament one of the most coveted in Europe.

Dana Cup: Held in Hjørring, Denmark, the tournament has hosted over 6000 teams since 1984. Hailed as the most international youth soccer tournament, it attracts teams from all over the globe.

FC United won their group with 2 wins and one tie.
They then lost in the first round of finals to Hjorring IF (Denmark)
in the second round of tie-breaking PK’s. |
In addition to the two tournaments, FC United won their friendly game 2 - 0 in Cologne, Germany, against a local team. Congratulations boys, those cookie sales and car washes really payed off!
