Eric played as a freshman in High School before playing four years at University of Illinnois, where he was team captain his junior and senior years. After graduation, he played locally in the Metropolitan Soccer League and is stll an active player with Schwaben AC.

Eric has coached at the high school and club levels. He was the JV coach for three years at Lake Zurich HS be coaching with the Wauconda Chiefs. He most recently coached with the Greater Libertyville Soccer Association and the Eclipse Select organizations.
